Howdy, Ghoulz!
Easter is right around the corner, so you know what that means! I’m hoppin’ over to one of my most favorite FREE spring crochet bunny patterns I’ve ever discovered while surfing online! It’s THE pattern for spring and Easter, and you can find it here on Ravelry or you can find it HERE on The Green Dragonfly blog!
I mean look it! Look. At. Himbz! SQUEE!!!!!

These bunnies are addictive! They work up so easily and fairly quick, too! I can make a bunny in one relaxing evening of coffee and listening to a spooky or true crime podcast! I notice they’ve turned out well with any hook close to the one suggested and the yarn works as long as it’s close to the Red Heart Super Saver Yarn. I haven’t tried drastically different hooks or yarn, yet, but if y’all decide to use a giant hook and double up your yarn for a giant bunny, lemme know if it works out! We want pics, too! Add them to the Ravelry project pics or come right to the Craftyghoul facebook page and share them there, too!
This particular bunny is going to be for my two year old lil’ bebe’s Easter this year! I worked in a few embelishments here and there like stitched starbursts on the ears and little dashes dotted around. Her favorite color is purple, so I was sure to add that in! I also only used the inner loops to connect the two halves so there’s this neat little design along the sides. Sometimes that looks good and can elevate a pattern connection when usually it’s used to make a corner, angle, or drop off in a pattern.

Instead of doing the explosion-tail thing around a fork where my kiddo might pull out strands and eat ‘em, I decided to just use the face circle pattern and then dec around to make his tail! So, I’ll leave y’all with a picture of his adorbz lil’ puffy cotton tail!

This is definitely not the first time I’ve visited this pattern! I’ve made SO many of these over the years, y’all!

I’ll be back soon with more projects!
What are y’all’s favorite springtime patterns?
Party on, Ghoulz!
